As part of our training portfolio, CPD offers nationally recognised Business & Administration NVQs tailored to the needs of the employer and the individual.
NVQ Level 2
The Business and Administration
Level 2 qualification is
intended for individuals whose
operational role involves
carrying out a broad range of
administrative activities
working with some autonomy and
requiring a limited amount of
supervision. The individual will
be working as part of a team
ensuring the provision of
information and resources to
others. Their work situation will provide the opportunity to be involved in a range of administration activities, e.g. managing customer relations, managing diary systems, organising business travel and accommodation, organising and supporting meetings, using various software packages and preparing text from a variety of sources.
NVQ Level 3
The Business and Administration Level 3 qualification is intended for individuals such as supervisors and team leaders whose role involves carrying out administrative duties with a considerable amount of responsibility and autonomy. The individual will be contributing to the development and implementation of administrative services within the organisation and will have a substantial amount of administrative experience. Their duties will include supervising an office facility, managing and evaluating customer relations, monitoring information systems, running projects, planning, organising and supporting meetings, making presentations, using various software packages, planning and implementing innovation and change, providing leadership and preparing text from a variety of sources.
NVQ Level 4
The Business and Administration Level 4 qualification is intended for individuals who are working at a senior level with considerable responsibility for the management of systems and resources and an extensive degree of autonomy. The individual's role will involve developing and monitoring facilities and resources to maintain an administrative service within the organisation. Their duties will include managing an office facility, managing contracts, negotiating and agreeing budgets, monitoring and reviewing the implementation of corporate objectives, strategies and policies, informing and facilitating corporate decision making, creating and managing information systems and chairing meetings.
